If you’d like to help me race then please consider making a donation using the PayPal link above. I shall list all those who sponsor me on a sponsorship page over the coming months as momentum gathers to reach race start.
Whilst the Clipper Race is the only race where amateurs like myself can take part, I have none of the sailing kit necessary for such an undertaking so your donations would go directly towards these kit expenses and port expenses during the race. I will need to secure and fund my own accommodation during stopovers in port between races. These are usually 7-10 days in duration. The expense of this is not insignificant and presents a challenge. Therefore, please consider a donation to help me in this endeavour or, better still, if you live or have a friend or family member who lives in the following cities, perhaps they would be willing to offer me a spare bed or sofa whilst I’m in port?
Port Stopovers: Seattle – Panama (Pacific) – Panama (Atlantic) – New York/New Jersey – Bermuda – Derry/Londonderry – London (Albert Dock)
If you’d like your name to appear on my blog as a supporter please let me know when you make a donation. In return for donations I am keen to give talks in schools, work places and with community groups, as well as write an article for your community, club or work-place magazine. Get in touch if you have a request as I’m always keen to inspire others!
